What My Teammates Say

Real feedback from stakeholders

What I Walked Into — and Needed to Change

What Changed — and Why It Mattered

Improved the Product Experience

I transformed fragmented, widget-based pages into clear, workflow-driven experiences grounded in user research. By aligning design variations across the product and partnering closely with engineers, I helped bring consistency, clarity, and usability to the platform. I also led the design for all major features, shaping the core experience end-to-end.

What’s more…

Driving Component Alignment Across Products

I led cross-product alignment efforts to bring consistency to core UX patterns at Palo Alto Networks. For example, I initiated and drove the standardization of the filter/search experience across multiple products, including IoT Security, which previously had a standalone system. By collaborating with designers from other teams, we unified key components to ensure a more cohesive experience companywide.

Cultivated UX Thinking Across the Team

While working on alerts and vulnerability workflows, I pushed to reframe the problem—not just “adding information,” but redefining the entire user journey. I invited PMs and engineers into the design process through brainstorming sessions, voting exercises, and open discussions. I also interviewed users to deeply understand their workflows and iterated designs based on those insights.

Reflection on My 4+ Years with the IoT Team

Working with this team and company has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’ve grown from a passionate junior designer into a senior designer with greater responsibility, broader impact, and an even deeper love for design. Along the way, I’ve continued to learn, contribute, and evolve — and we’ve grown so much by learning from each other.
