As a data-driven User Exeprience/Product Designer with a strong business background, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction Institute and Education technology @ Carnegie Mellon University and expected to graduate in Dec 2020.

Previoulsy, I worked as a User Experience Designer @ TalkMeUp and @ Baidu.Inc . Before starting my UX journey since 2018, I worked as a financial consultant in @ PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and @ Deloitte for about 3 years.

I enjoy creating my design within business considerations to bring people smiles and bring business value to companies.

While working in PwC, I initially focused on analyzing data and the market to explore stories hidden behind.

However, I gradually realized that stories told by data might be biased. Listening intently to clients' needs is the key to ensure qualified deliveries and bring values to clients. Also, at various moments in working, I recognized that I was fully ignited by empathizing people, thinking on their behalf and solving their problems.

Having realized what I am passionate about, I changed my job to a fully customer-faced group in Deloitte and started to learn more about related fields in my spare time.

That's how I then came along HCI/UX and started my first interest-oriented project. The deeper I dive in the field, the more I know that it is where my passion lies.

As a self-driving designer, I organized a group of UX Designers to conduct app critiques weekly, and spent my spare time in exploring new design areas and found my interests in conversation design and inclusive design. I gathered all my thoughts in design and business in Medium Post .
